The House has reduced the amount of stress on our entire family as we moved from Arizona to Effingham, SC, which resulted in moving 2 1/2 hours away from the qualified doctors needed for our special needs children- Myranda and Gracie.
Myranda (11 years old) has spinal bifida and Gracie (7 years old) has cerebral palsy. Because of the RMHC of Charleston we were able to make multiple appointments for testing, pre-op visits and surgeries without worry and also have a place for our other daughter, Alesea (10 years old), to go and play while her sisters were at doctor’s appointments or in-patient care.
