The team from Kiawah Island Golf Resort brought a little luxury and a whole lot of heart to RMHC Charleston for what we like to call Five Star Day.

From the moment they arrived, their goal was to make our families feel pampered, appreciated, and cared for just like guests at their world-class resort. And they did exactly that!

The Kiawah Island Resort team transformed the House with their kindness and energy. They cooked and served delicious homemade meals (breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!), refreshed our House with professional housekeeping and landscaping, and even treated families to mini spa services to help them relax after long days at the hospital, including manicures and massages.

It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and a renewed sense of comfort; something our families cherish as they face some of life’s most difficult challenges.

We’re so grateful to the Kiawah Island Resort team for sharing their talents and compassion in such a meaningful way. It’s community partnerships like these that remind us how powerful a simple act of service can be.

Because when families stay close to the care they need, surrounded by people who care, that’s when healing happens, and that’s what a Five Star Day is all about.
