06 Feb Construction is Underway!

Exciting progress is happening at RMHC Charleston as construction on our expansion officially moves forward.

What started with fencing installations and fiber cable removals has quickly grown into visible momentum with cranes on site, groundwork in motion, and foundation preparations underway. Each day brings us one step closer to expanding our ability to serve families in need. And yes, even Charleston surprised us with a dusting of snow on the crane along the way!

This expansion will add 34 new bedrooms, allowing us to welcome more families who need a comfortable, supportive place to stay while their child receives critical medical care. Every new room represents a family who can stay close to their child’s bedside, easing emotional and financial stress during an incredibly difficult time.

While construction is underway, there is still time to be part of this transformative project.
