Bag Lady Luncheon

On October 11th, RMHC Charleston hosted its 11th Annual Bag Lady Luncheon, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $200,000 to support families staying at our House! This event brought together fashion, fun, and philanthropy, ensuring families can stay close to their children when they need it most.

The day was filled with excitement, starting with guests browsing through an array of local Charleston vendors lining the halls followed by a fashion show by Hampden Clothing and Dear Georgie, showcasing stylish looks that wowed the crowd. Attendees enjoyed a delicious seated lunch sipping on a signature cocktail crafted by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, creating the perfect atmosphere for connection and celebration. One of the highlights of the day was our silent auction featuring a dazzling collection of new and vintage handbags, where friendly bidding wars showed just how much people care about making a difference.

The festivities didn’t stop there—guests also bid on live auctions and raffle items featuring luxurious trips and stunning jewelry sets.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported us to make this event a success. Your contributions ensure that families have a place to call home while receiving the care their children need. Thank you for making this year’s Bag Lady Luncheon unforgettable!
