A Note From a Grateful Mother

From December 27–30, Timothy “Isaiah” Frasure and his mother, Janice McClain, stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston while Isaiah attended MUSC to correct his cleft palate.
After their return home to Pelzer—more than 200 miles away—the House received a thank you card in the mail. Here’s what Isaiah’s grateful mother had to say about their stay here at the House:

“This was truly a home away from home. We live in Pelzer, so it was a long drive, and we were very hungry when we arrived. It was such a blessing to walk in and have supper waiting—the fried chicken was delicious! When you add up the gifts, soft beds, beautiful smiles and a large dose of kindness, thank you is not a big enough word for all you did for my family while we were there. Everyone at the House is so nurturing, and it was nice to have the conveniences. But most of all, thank you for taking care of everything else, so that all we had to worry about was Isaiah getting better.”—Janice McClain
