Battle of the Breweries

Join us for our Second Annual Battle of the Breweries, a friendly competition across local breweries to support RMHC Charleston!

From May 1 through September 30, eleven breweries/bars throughout the Lowcountry will compete to collect the most pop tabs to benefit families staying at the House. Guests can participate by pulling tabs directly from cans purchased at participating breweries, or can bring in pop tabs they’ve saved from home. Heaviest haul of pop tabs win!

Supporting Breweries/Bars: Tideland Brewing, House of Brews, Low Tide Brewing, Hobcaw Brewing, New Realm Brewing Co., Wyrd Sisters Brewing, Estuary Beans & Barley, Edisto River Brewing, Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co., Indigo Reef Brewing Co., Bearded, A Social Tavern, Fam’s Brewing Co., Munkle Brewing Co.

Here’s how to get involved:

• Drink canned beverages at one of our participating breweries
• Bring your saved pop tabs from home and drop them off in the designated collection bin
• Rally your friends, family, and fellow beer lovers to support your favorite brewery/bar!

Every tab collected is recycled and helps us keep our lights on and doors open for our families.

We’re wrapping up with a Weigh-In Ceremony on October 4th at Low Tide Brewing (time TBD), where we’ll have live music, cold drinks, raffle prizes, and award the winner of the pop tab competition with the coveted golden pop tab! Come out and join us for a night of good fun and giving back – and may the best brewery win!
