The annual Monica Kreber Golf Tournament teed off in 1997, a year after Dave Kreber received a phone call playing a round of golf with business associates that his seven-year-old daughter, Monica, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After three years of chemotherapy and hundreds of nights in the hospital at MUSC, Monica made a full recovery.

For the past 27 years, the Monica Kreber Golf Tournament has raised over $1.5 million for cancer research at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. It will now proudly be helping children battling cancer whose families are staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 2025 tournament, where we raised over $150,000 for our families at the House!
