Recently, our families and staff were treated to a “5-Star Day,” an extraordinary experience filled with comfort, care, and thoughtful touches that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s 5-Star Day is a heartwarming initiative that brings world-class hospitality to RMHC Charleston. Their team of talented professionals brought the luxury and service they’re known for directly to our House, giving families a day to relax, recharge, and feel cared for.

From the moment the team arrived, they transformed the House into a haven of luxury. Here’s a glimpse of what made the day so special:

  • Delicious Meals: A gourmet breakfast and lunch, lovingly prepared and served by the resort’s chefs, filled the House with the comforting aroma of freshly made dishes.
  • Relaxing Spa Services: Parents and caregivers were treated to massages and nail care, giving them a chance to unwind and de-stress.
  • Landscaping and Maintenance: The team didn’t stop at hospitality—they also gave the House a little TLC, sprucing up our landscaping and ensuring the House was in top shape.

  • Educational Exhibition: Alligators, turtles, and snakes – oh my! The children loved touching and hearing about the different reptiles that visited the House.
  • Hospital Rides: The team offered shuttle services to and from MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital for visits with their child.
