07 Jul 24th Annual McDonald’s – Dr Pepper Charity Golf Classic
The 24th Annual McDonald’s – Dr Pepper Charity Golf Classic presented by Crews Subaru, was a tremendous success, raising more than $400,000 to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities Charleston.
The weekend began with a memorable pre-party at The Sandcastle on Sunday, June 14, where supporters gathered to celebrate the impact of the event and hear from the Turbeville family about their experience staying at RMHC Charleston while their daughter received medical care. Their story served as a powerful reminder of why this community comes together to keep families close during some of their most difficult moments.
The evening also featured exciting live and online auctions, giving guests the opportunity to support RMHC Charleston while bidding on over 100 incredible experiences and items donated by generous community partners. We are grateful to everyone who donated auction items and helped make these fundraising opportunities such a success.
A special thank you goes to our pre-party partners who helped create an unforgettable evening, including Duvall Catering, Chris Crosby Music, Carolina Cocktails, Barefoot Flower Farms for providing beautiful centerpieces, and Olde Colony Bakery for providing Charleston benne wafers as guest gifts.
On Monday, June 15, 110 golfers took to the River Course on Kiawah Island for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. Every sponsorship, round of golf, and donation helped make a difference for families who rely on RMHC Charleston for comfort, support, and a ‘Home-away-from-home.’
We are incredibly thankful for all of the partners who helped make tournament day a success.
