12th Annual Bag Lady Luncheon

Supporters of RMHC Charleston gathered for our 12th Annual Bag Lady Luncheon, an afternoon that blended style, generosity, and community. Thanks to everyone who attended, bid, donated, and volunteered; the event raised more than $225,000 to support families staying at the House.

This year’s luncheon featured a runway fashion show presented by Hampden Clothing and Dear Georgie, showcasing standout looks in women’s and children’s fashion while bringing high energy to the room. Guests enjoyed champagne and a seated meal before participating in both silent and live auctions of new and pre-adorned handbags, as well as other sought-after items from local and nonlocal businesses/vendors.

Midday, the Lewis family shared their story and reflected on what RMHC Charleston meant during their child’s medical journey. Their message grounded the day in its purpose and reminded attendees why their support matters so deeply.

Seth G provided live contemporary violin music throughout the event, adding to the atmosphere and making this year’s luncheon especially memorable. While Robbin Knight Photography captured each magical moment that was made by our guests.

We also extend a special thank you to our emcees, Claire O’Bryan from Skin Clique and Ken French from Crews Chevrolet, for guiding the program and keeping the energy high throughout the afternoon.

The hallways were lined with local businesses and vendors who were showcasing their unique products and handmade goods. Thank you to Goldbug Collection, Scraps by Stradley Davidson, Clorinda Antinori, Taxidermy, 80 Muze, Sweet 185, Hampden Clothing, Julep, Dear Georgie, Krewe, Sonhouse, and Elby for making the guests’ shopping experience so special.

We’re grateful for the countless volunteers who helped make the event seamless from setup to guest check-in to breakdown. Their work ensures that Bag Lady remains one of our most cherished gatherings.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our 12th Annual Bag Lady Luncheon. Your generosity keeps families near their child when it matters most.
