Ronald McDonald House Sib Shops
Support for the brothers and sisters of children with special health needs
Sibshops is our program of support for the brothers and sisters of children with special health needs.
The program aims to:
- provide brothers and sisters with an occasion to meet others in a recreational setting,
- while giving them a chance to talk about the joys and worries of living with a family member with special health needs.
Sibshops are planned events where brothers and sisters meet other sibs, have fun, laugh, talk about the good and not so good parts of having a sibling with special health needs, play some great games, and learn something about the experiences of other brothers and sisters.
Sibshops are suited for brothers and sisters from five to ten years of age. They usually occur on a Saturday from 10:00-1:00 at the Ronald McDonald House.
