Trudy's School of Dance Kicked Up Their Heels For Us

Last year, Trudy's School of Dance put on the first annual Catch The Spirit performance to celebrate the holidays and raise some money for the Ronald McDonald House.  Their studio was standing room only as every person that could squeeze into the room had a ball with all the Trudy's teacher's and students.  This year, they moved the event to St. James Episcopal Church, added a silent auction, and more than quadrupled their contribution to the Ronald McDonald House!

Copper Makes For Big Changes at RMH

We have been the proud recipients of a beautiful and health-related facelift lately.  The Copper Development Association has been working to install Antimicrobial Copper on the surfaces most frequently touched in our House:  railings, tabletops, doorhandles, and sinks.  The material is absolutely gorgeous, and is proven to harbor fewer germs than the surfaces we had before.  Our new railings alone have changed the look of our interior!

See more in the Post and Courier and on our blog.  You can also follow Antimicrobial Copper on Twitter.

  Our Business Partners

We are grateful to our business partners for their yearlong committment to families.

Meet our hairiest staff member, Cooper!

Cooper the Labradoodle came to live at the Ronald McDonald House in January to serve as a therapy dog for the families staying with us. He was donated by Lone Star Labradoodles in Texas, the third they have donated to Ronald McDonald Houses. Cooper's name was chosen as a result of a contest held in area schools. He has lifetime training donated by BarkBusters, grooming by Susan's VIP Grooming, and veterinary care from All Creatures Veterinary Clinic. Cooper's daytime fun is sponsored in part by Moonshadow Kennel, where Cooper enjoys being a dog in Day Care.
