Lights of Love

Be the light for our families

Lights of Love is the Ronald McDonald House signature holiday event that helps raise funds to operate our program in the next year. Our annual holiday Lights of Love fundraiser brings the light of hope and love to families who must stay in Charleston to tend to their sick children during this special season.

You can honor a friend, teacher, co-worker or family member by purchasing a light now through January 1st. We will send an acknowledgement card to the person you wish to honor.

November 1- Lights of Love Begins

Purchase a light through Jan.1. With the help of local businesses, social organizations, churches and individuals, we have served over 10,000 families traveling to Charleston through their “darkest time”. Please join us in supporting families as we once again bring light to the Ronald McDonald House this holiday season.

November 14- Lights of Love Event

Bring the Family out to watch the lighting of the House and enjoy entertainment and refreshments for the evening. For the past seven years, Bill Walsh has presided over the public lighting ceremony as we flip the switch on Live 5 News to reveal the lights representing support of the community. Top sponsors are prominently displayed on signage on the Ronald McDonald House facing Calhoun Street.

Join us for our annual Lights of Love Ceremony, Tuesday November 14th at 5:30pm.

We will enjoy musical performances from students of Ashley Hall!

There will be food and drinks provided from Jim ‘N Nick’s so bring your family and friends along!

To purchase a light, contact MaryKat at or Download this form and fax or mail it to us. 843-277-2804 or 81 Gadsden St. 29401

We hope you will buy a light this holiday season and be a light in the lives of families with seriously ill children.
